Birdie Basics is a golf learning program developed by early childhood learning expert Kate Tempesta from New York, New York. Kate has developed a way to engage and train young golfers, ages 3-6 to get the basic knowledge of the game in a fun playful environment. This fall Birdies is a four week class by month. Learn the greatest game of all the Birdie way. Tuesdays at 6:00 PM. $125 for the month.

David Ogrin
David Ogrin is the Director of Instruction at the David Ogrin Golf Academy (DOGA), located in New Braunfels, Texashome to Schlitterbahn, Wurstfest, and the Comal River. The academy is at 1357 Wald Rd., New Braunfels, TX 78130. Following an impressive nearly 20-year career on the PGA Tour, where David secured three wins1987 Deposit Guaranty Golf Classic, 1989 Chrysler Team Championship, and the 1996 Valero Texas Open (defeating Jay Haas by one stroke and Tiger Woods by two)he shifted his focus to coaching golfers of all skill levels. David earned a B.S. in Economics from Texas A&M University in 1980. He has been happily married to his wife Sharon for over 32 years, and together they have four children: Amy, Jessica, Dana, and Clark. His daughter Jessica has two children, Danzig and Pepper. In addition to his professional accomplishments, David is a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan. After the Cubs' historic 2016 World Series win, he famously said, My life is now complete. I can die in peace.
